I rarely post on politics nowadays because, like smoking, it’s hazardous to your health. Well in this case at least cigarettes seem more sensitive than politicians.

THE Arroyo administration is taking its mission to wipe out the country’s communists another step further in the coming elections.

National Security Adviser Norberto Gonzales is proposing to “label” Left-leaning party-list candidates as communists to caution voters, particularly soldiers and policemen, against putting what he calls democracy’s enemies inside the halls of Congress.

What in the whatever your supreme being’s name was he thinking! These are things that are usually discussed in private drinking sessions while in a drunken stupor, not in major daily publications. Hay caramba, i better stop lest I be labeled one and have to paint my Vespa red.

Talaga nga naman…tsk tsk tsk.

Blast from the past huh. Check out the Portanje Vespa Scooter and Nostalgia Collection. It’s really worth the time you’ll take to browse around the site, and it is a pretty extensive site.

Since 1981 I am collecting:
Scootering nostalgia from the 50s and 60s, especially VESPA.

Why?
As a member of the Vespa Club Amersfoort from 1957 until 1963, I made numerous trips on my 1956 model, and later on my 1959 GS.
I went three times to Italy, once to Spain, and once to the South of France.
