Hey, it’s 2024!

Good day from 2024. Haven’t really gotten back to writing as life and work has gotten in the way. Still have a couple of Vespas in the garage, but sadly, I’ve given up on the PX. Body’s getting old and time to opt for an easier ride. Hopefully we’ll have more time and continue to post here regarding scooter life, motorcycle life and bicycle life. Sama nyo na ang life in general...

No Bio, No Boto

The 2016 presidential elections is fast approaching. Have you registered to vote? We were able to register my eldes son and reactivate my wife’s voter status by going to the Comelec’s Satellite program this afternoon, which was held at the CW Home Depot along J. Vargas Ave. in Pasig. You can check out the schedule of the Satellite Office program in the Comelec website. It’s much more convenient than having to go to your local Comelec office, aircon pa! So go out there and register and if you are already, vote...

Getting things sorted out

Wow it’s been so long since I posted here. I thought my site was gone already. I’ve been so busy with the other site the past couple of years that I haven’t had time to write on this one. Not really a good excuse but, well, it happens. I really really really want to get back to writing on this blog again. First things first, have to get my software in order. Have some technical issues to work out with WordPress. So if you see the site go on the fritz a few times over the course of the next few days don’t panic. It’s me playing around with the settings. In recent riding news. I’ve been thoroughly enjoying the Aprilia and the power it has. I don’t have the skill nor the balls to ride it to it’s full potential but it works for me. It must be odd for some of the riders I meet to see this Super Motard being ridden like a scooter. But whatever floats your boat right. The Stella’s still the same reliable scoot since I first rode it a couple of years back. That scoot is S O L I D. Can’t find any fault in it really. I STILL don’t have my PX back from the mechanic, it’s been 2 months since I last saw it and I reckon it’ll be another 2 more before I get it back. I really miss the feel of the old 2 stroke Vespa. Anyway that’s it for now, gotta do some geeky stuff on the site. Till next...

Have a taste of the Dolce Vita Experience!

Dolce Vita is the “Sweet Life”.   To celebrate this, Swatch created a delectable line of watches to express this Italian proverb by going back to the basics. A simple but sweet orange, a vine ripened tomato, a tangy onion or even a consumed sardine depicts the pleasure of a fresh, simple but satisfying meal.  Good food, to the fun- loving Italians, is the foundation of a good life. Bring a friend to the Dolce Vita Culinary Workshop at Swatch & Swatch from July 23 – 26.  It’s so simple.  All you need to do is buy a Swatch watch.  We take care of the rest.  Spend a gustatory morning or afternoon with us on: 23 July 2015, Thursday The Italian Pantry 5:30pm – 8:00pm 24 July 2015, Friday Pasta Making and the Right Sauce 5:30pm – 8:00pm 25 July 2015, Saturday Entertain the Italian Way 10:00am – 1:00pm or 3:00pm – 6:00pm 26 July 2015, Sunday Swiss Comfort Food 10:00am to 1:00pm or 3:00pm – 6:00pm (Please contact (02) 887-1898 to reserve a slot on your preferred date and time) To complete the Dolce Vita experience, Swatch, together with Vespinoy hand picked classic Italian Vespas and Lambrettas to exhibit.  These impeccably restored two- wheeled masterpieces are a sight to see.
