May 19, 2007 was a very exciting for a Vespisti like me.  That day was  special  because  4 Vespa riders from different parts of the globe will meet and talk about rare vintage Vespas the whole day.

I arrived in Nagoya, Japan around 1130H and by 1400H, My friend Yeoungja and David picked me up in my hotel and drove to the outskirts of the city to see and mount the Vespa collection of Mr. Suguira San

Mr.Suguira San is a well known vintage Vespa collector in Japan,   and probably has the most complete line of Vintage Vespa collection under one roof.  I saw 4 complete fenderlights, GS', GLs, VBB's, SS",lots of small frames, etc..... a one of a kind PX200e w a sidecar with lots of modification. I was so overwhelmed with what i saw and i cant seem to focus my eyes on which Vespa to look at.

There are approximately 30 Vespas there and all of them are in running condition.  He even have a room full of used and brand new NOS engines from 1949 to present.  He has    a warehouse full of tires, spare parts, emblems, books, posters, shirts and even a rare Vespacar.

I brought something Vespa to Mr. Suguira san and in return he gave me some cool patches from the early 90's.  My friend David and Yeuongja gave me a scooterist RAF patch and a Vespa Club of America patch.

American, Korean, Filipino and a Japanese.   Different nationalities, one passion, the Vespa.

That's me admiring the rides.....I can't believe the number of rare Vespas under one roof.  He has a 1949? handle bar

some more rides.....Most of his Vespas have price tags but not really for sale if you are not from his area.  He chooses the people who can own his precious rides.  I believe if you are from out of town he wont sell his Vespas for any price.  He wants to see his rides from time to time.

Mr. Suguira's favourite ride, a souped up p200e with rear stabilizers, front steering damper, kitted engine, polini exhaust, parking brakes, and a gas tank ala Sprint SS Shocked
