after seeing the pictures, i just have to say ...
now that's the way to ride around this country !!!
slowly, and taking the time to shoot pictures like that.

i've done my fair share of long rides, and i wish we had done it that way too ...

exactly, direkpal.  I've been going on trips like this since 1990 with the family - usually taking 9 to 12 days on our vw camper.  Enjoy talaga ang countryside. This is the first time, however, that i did it on a scooter and it is a different kind of high with all the wind and space around you...Sana we'll get the chance to have a long ride with everybody - with more days. Sobrang enjoy yun am sure. Wink

Masakit ba sa katawan??

grabe yung init, pare. ewan nga bakit namin naisipang gawin ito kelan summer. however, i felt that the Metz were getting grippier and grippier habang umiinit ang panahon. i'm totally sold on these tyres. ibang klase rin ang PX200 na seat. I swear, my butt didn't ache at all during this ride. ni minsan.

congratulations to john, grillman, boo, manolo and eddie on your trip. i'm sure you guys became veteran riders after  bonding with your wasp for 5 gruelling days!

question lang mga chief, are there alternative route from cagayan to ilocos na hindi dadaan dun sa towns na delikado. i'm planning kasi to do the northern loop this summer with my family? TIA

I'm afraid, there isn't, enjo. The best advice I could give is for you to trail another vehicle like a passenger bus. Its pace may be too slow for comfort, but at least you won't be alone when you cross that mountain pass.

Hello Boo, your account of the ride was as impressive as the ride itself! Very well writen. I congratulate you and the rest of the boys for the completing "the loop." Maybe someday i can also be part of this ultimate ride and and be able to tell people about it as well as you.

Congratulations Boo, John, Louie, Manolo, and Eddie
