Best way to Carmona Racing Circuit is Via Daang Hari, at the end of Daang Hari make a left towards molino highway (landmark is SM Molino) go straight till you reach Golden City and Paliparan. Head straight till you reach the end of the road. That is Carmona Cavite, make a left you will see a petron by your right, just go staright and pass 2 Metal bridge, after, your Landmark is Shell, Make a right that is CRC.

It doesnt matter how strong your bike is when you don't have any track experience. There are lots of things to find out and learn when inside the track like where to break, where to power out, racing line, etc. Its very different from your everyday/leasure riding.

Maybe next time he'll be in class B na ;)

Post by: knee_sliders on May 03, 2007, 09:54:02 AM: yeah i agree with sir nyaraap, i also joined d race, my bike is a 150cc 4stroke malaguti madison, , its a maxi scoot, ive been outclassed...napunta ko s class b, believe me its hard to ride it especially when it comes to tight corners :P, its my 1st time too in all euro...but...dapat i-classify din ung engine mods kc malaki lamang lalo na pag malakas ung bike...overall it was fun competing with other euro scoots...friendly peeps too... :)

Unfortunate for me come qualifying round (yung mismong qualifying run) my scoot stalled halfway the track (after turn 5 i think).so there, i end up joining the c class. dont worry mga sirs next year class b na ako for sure. one thing that i also agree, as a first timer on a race... iba talaga ang feeling ng track sa normal riding. sabi nga ng ibang mga riders sa akin "wala yan sa lakas ng motor, nasa rider talaga yan" and i believe it so.peace din sir sparetire.

nauunahan po sya ng mga vespa sa likuan kaso pag dating sa istretch nauunahan po ng gilera yung mga vespa. kaya pang class c po si sir iceman.

nasiraan po si sir iceman kaya napunta sya sa class c. kung nagkataon po, eh napunta po sya sa class b sa automatic. pukpukan duon sa class b, malamang naiwan si sir ice man dun. IMHOP

Post by: iCeMaN on May 07, 2007, 08:30:16 PM: Oo nga makoy, hindi talaga ako experiensyadong rider sa track. kaunaunahang race ko yung nangyari nung trackday. di bale next year makikipagpukpukan na ako sa class b riders, ayusin ko lang yung scoot ko, may engine or somesort of a problem kasi. kita ko nga yung ibang mga riders sa upper class, grabe magride at ang bibilis, ang gagaling din nila lalo na sa cornering. i must admit,di ako marunong sa cornering at hindi din ako magaling sa racing. madami ngang beses na muntikan na akong maovertake-an ng mga kasama ko sa class. mabagal din ako pagdating sa straights kasi di pa ako marunong sa approach ng curves.overall it was a learning experience for me as a rider. im sure whatever i learned with the races with the class c it will be very useful when im running with the boys from the b class.

sana nga lang inuna nila ang class c sa race sched instead of being it the third and final class to race. parang motogp, 125 then 250 then the 800cc ang pinaka grand finale.

Post by: iCeMaN on May 07, 2007, 09:43:05 PM: kasi nung final round ng class c halos wala ng tao kasi naguwian na. yung mga aawardan na lang ang mga naiwan by the time natapos yung finalrace ng class c. and to be honest yung class a ang inaabangan ng mga tao at yun din naman kasi ang pinaka intense na race sa lahat, kaya dapat hinuhuli yun. para bang boxing... main event or yung huli ang pinka mabibigat na boxingero. opinion ko lang naman.

sir iceman, panoorin po ninyo yung video ng karera naunahan po kayo ng dalawang vespa yung puti at yung grey kaso sa istretch naunahan nyo sila kasi po 180cc po kayo na matic.

pero tsip mahusay rin po kayo sa gilera. kasi sa karera namin dati sa jog kahit class c parang class A ang pukpukan.

maganda po suggestion ninyo na lower class to the above class, maisuggest natin po sa scoot66.

in the case of "stalled" during the qualifying round, i guess the organizers will understand and allow you to take a "requalifying round" para maging fair naman ang classifying.

i heard hindi man lang nagalit ang engine mo during the race dahil puro vespa ang kalaban mo, stock pa yung 3 or 4 racers dun, pipiga ka lang ng throttle, sila magcluclutch palang, not to mention na ang lakas pa ng bike mo.

well, i guess sa next race na natin malalaman yan.
