I've had my share of bumps and bruises by almost everyone imaginable on the road, a guy on an underbone scratching my newly painted topbox on the GT, a makati girl in her car hitting my PX from behind ever so slightly, just enough to shatter my clear signal lens, two chinita girls in a pajero hitting my PX and denting the left fender.....dami pa, but in almost all of these instances, after assessing the damage to myself and to the scoot, I just let it go since maliit naman talaga ang damage and bitching about it to the people responsible will only result in stupid stares from the people concerned, so better na lang to try and avoid getting into such circumstances.....yun lang naman eh akin la-ang.

huwag daanin sa init ng ulo (road rage). take for example the 'rolito go' incident. what if maguan (i forgot his first name) did not go into an argument with rolito go...maybe he should still be alive. IMHO. ingat lang mga bro! madaling palitan or even ayusin ang scooter. ang buhay ay minsan lang...

i've often wondered about the same thing.
i know dante mendoza, the director of the SERBIS, yung local movie na naimbita sa cannes this year. he got his start as a production designer for commercials dito sa atin, and i worked with him several times. although i haven't seen any of his films, napansin ko na halos lahat ay tungkol sa temang pagka-bading o di kaya prostitution. if i'm not mistaken, this is probably the third or fourth time that mendoza's films have been critically acclaimed in other international festivals.
i guess matunog sa kanila pag ang pinapakita sa pelikula ay ang kahirapan ng buhay na may kasamang "realistic" na eksenang sex.
oh well ... 

well, nakakalungkot lang dahil napaka-rich naman ng ating kultura na pwedeng maging theme sa mga international film festivals.

natutuwa rin  naman ako sa kanila dahil nakikilala ang talent ng mga pinoy, pero i'm hoping na huwag sana ma-typecast ang ating bansa sa mga pelikulang ginagawa ng iba nating mga kababayan.
