samsung hasn't catch up with the industry bro... i bought 2 samsungs point and shoot cameras but after the warranty period, bigla mga nasira.  parang mga time bomb.  now both are gathering dust kse ang mahal ng pa service.  dammit!  i would not recommend the brand.

badong, used to be a sony P&S user then i give up...  same experience with barnz, after the warranty wala na and the sad part, i invested on even more expensive underwater casing...  kinalimutan ko na kung saan na ito!

GF1 vs G11.  and there is another one from olympus (dala ng barkada ko galing US, nagamit ko na rin, nakalimutan ko model).  GF1 and that olympus i am talking about use micro 4/3 compact interchangeable lenses.  malaki ang potential that this four-third lenses will be a hit bacause its compact and less weight (number 1 complaint of SLR user, MABIGAT)!  and i doubt if canon will join in the four-third lenses trend.

GF1 kit lens is 14-45mm (tama ba?) while G11 has 28-140mm.  looks like GF1 targets traveler and landscape enthusiast while G11 seems all around.  this is judging from the lens.

i am biased to canon, i would recommend G11!  :D

@bosero- ser, yung 14-45mm ng Panasonic/Olympus ay 28-90mm sa other brands.

i used to own a G9, but its really bad with low light and indoors.  ako pa naman i like taking pics of my cat. i bought my GF1 nung nasira yung G9 ko (Canon took a month to replace the lens) so nainip ako.  Nabenta ko rin yung G9 ko at a reasonable price (gagamitin daw sa photo booth haha).  btw, i have a pancake lens on my GF1 with f/1.7 :) kahit sa loob ng bar nakakakuha ng pics na walang flash hehe. I agree, Canon has more modes that allow for more creativity pero marami naman ways to post process.

ganda ng pic ni poliboy - pre - nuptials ba yan?
