since you'll be consuming roughly a liter a month kung masipag ka mag gala, i guess buy the best that you can afford.

if you can find motul 600 i would highly recommend that, though i don't know where to get that na.  there are a lot of other oils in the market, and if really caught in a tight spot any oil from a known gas station will do.

buy synthetic 2t oil better burn.

atumali on March 19, 2009, 08:17:37 AM
There are many synthetic oils in the market. Generally, they can be classified into mineral and ester based synthetics. Based on literature I have read, there is a big difference between the two. The former needs oil pressure to bond whereas the latter immediately bonds to metal. This also translates to a big price difference. For example, an ester based Motul or Shell 2T oil runs for around P800/liter whereas a mineral based synthetic Motul or Shell goes for less than half that price.

How important the bonding feature to you will depend on your usage of the scoot. Horses for courses.
I just love the smell of 2T in the morning...

I had to top up with Petron Premium.  Wala naman akong reklamo so far.

I just bought a liter of Motul 710, sabi nila replacement daw ng Motul 600 (which, for me, was the best oil I've ever used).

Will see how this one fares.

Got the same one sir.  It seems you'll be using yours first since I just topped up.  Would appreciate your review of it.  Thanks!
