I got to get a bottle of elf synth oil on a cool deal... but i dunno how to change my et's oil.  anybody out there who could guide me through it?  thanks!

you'd like to change the filter too every 2 oil changes (medyo mahal kasi filter).
you've had other bikes before, so its not too different. loosen the drainbolt, drain the oil pour in the new oil. and you're all set.

hoy, totoo yan ha. marunong talaga ako! i'm sure ikaw di mo nagawa yan hahahahahaha
i just really need a guy to loosen the drainbolt. dito naman when i changed the oil of my SV 650 my brother told me to buy which tools and a rubber mallet pangpukpok! :D

Nawalan nanaman ako ng drive sa ET while riding at 100kph. Buti na lang malapit na ako sa bahay nung tinulak ko ang ET pauwi. When it happened before, 2211 told me that there's this thingie inside the compartment above the center footrest that gets detached from time to time.

What is it and how do I fix it? Di tuloy ako makalabas..  :(

ako ang sasagot dahil dati kong skut yan. it is the spark plug cap, natatatanggal yan. madaling masira kahit NGK. i once found a spark plug cap that fits the ET na pantraysikel, 50 pesos lang, yung NGK mahal at mahirap hanapin. nangyari yan before when we were on our way to Daet. ang ginawa ng ride buddy ko, binalik nya yung metal thing na nasa dulo ng spark plug para wag na matanggal yung cap.

was it slow? hmmm it was not slow when i had it ( i mean for a 125cc). kailangan lang ng new belt when we went to sierra madre before but when i changed it, nangiiwan na ng joyride. si boo kasi di ginagamit! remember, that was my daily ride when i had that scoot.

Nagagamit naman yung ET nowadays. I have to do something about that sparkplug cap..

I remember that scoot when Bimbo allowed me to use it in Carmona.  Typical zippy ET125.  Told Boo there's something wrong with it after he asked me to try it. It "feels" like a scooter that was left on 3rd gear when you accelerate.  Baka yung rollers.  I'd check also the belt and carb too.

tama si corrine, nangyari na din sa akin yan sa et4 125 ko dati boo... i'm riding from the south, sa c5 na ako.. im doing 90kph sa c5 after the service road.. siguro sa sobrang lubak sa service road, lumuwag/natanggal nga yung spark plug cap... biglang NO power from 90 kph, nasa leftmost lane pa naman ako, ang daming trucks na humahataw... hehehe... nakakatakot..

I checked everything, ayun, then i saw the spark plug cap, it was disconnected... kaya pala... teka OT pala ito.. sorry na naman bossing  ::) ;D

I'll try venturing a guess about this. I noticed that after you tried the ET and it was already propped on its center stand, that the rear brake was engaged. I realized this when I tried pushing the ET forward - stuck ang rear brake. Was that how it felt like, Rico, when you said it seemed stuck in 3rd gear?

Anyway, it hasn't happened lately maybe because I've been riding it more often. I've hit 100kph with some wind behind me along Macapagal, but I do agree that acceleration used to be better as I recall.
