Storm warning. New scooter with the key on the table. Owner asleep.
How could I resist?
Took out The Wife's LX for what I thought would be a quick shakedown run up marilaque.
As I was about to take off from Shell C5, an equally new and still unregistered KTM Enduro R pops in bearing an old friend.
Agreeing to keep within safe bounds and to turn back if things get too frisky, we shove off for the mountains.
Evidently the definition of too frisky gets skewed when a KTM and an LX is in the mix.

I and DS

Road visibility was becoming an issue so DS tells me that he knows a way that's not foggy

Never follow a KTM guy

Tada!!! Your scooter is now a dirt bike!

You know you're pushing the envelope when the KTM guy turns back...

...but the road (sort of road) beckons you further...
Now, where is that river crossing...

It's been over 1 year since I sold my last bike and it's been 4 or 5 years since I rode something this small...
Great day to come back into the 2 wheel fold...

Ride it like you stole it. I did.
