Euroscoot Northern Luzon 2009

It’s been a while since I’ve been on a long ride out of town and I almost missed this one as well. Work on the other site has been piling up and it almost cost me this trip.

Nevertheless, I did manage to go with the rest of the Euroscoot guys on this trip. This particular adventure started with a non-stop trip to Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte. The plan was to take off at 12 Midnight Thursday, March 12 and arrive roughly at 4pm on the same day giving us a travel time of around 16 hours, including breaks.

Well little did we know that we were way off our target and actually arrived in Saud Beach (Apo Idon Resort), Pagudpud Ilocos Norte at 12 noon. The main body of the group arrived almost soon after.

It was a tiring, exciting, sleepy and fun ride. Traveling at high speed almost the whole way really took a toll on me as I fell asleep at 3:30 and woke up for dinner at 7:30 and slept almost immediately after.

The rest of the trip was fun but it was really the trip to Pagudpud that was the defining moment of this ride.
