There will be a fund raising gig tonight, January 20, in Xymaca in Timog Avenue Quezon City for Juan Pablo Dream drummer Weslu Guinag.
Weslu and Glenn Formoso were on the way home from a gig last monday when they got sideswiped by a bus along EDSA around the Munoz/Balintawak area. Weslu passed away from injuries sustained from the accident.
The bus never stopped and the driver is still at large. If anyone has any information regarding this accident please don’t hesitate to contact me through my email address.

This is jim ayson of philmusic.com — question, was Weslu a member of any Vespa riders club? Was he indeed riding a Vespa when the accident took place, and what model was it?

As far as I know, Weslu was only backriding with Glenn on Glenn’s Vespa which is a Vespa PX150 (if i’m not mistaken).
I’m not sure if Weslu was a part of any Vespa club.
