Tisoy’s home!

Tisoy’s home!

Finally, after a 3 week vacation at 2211 Works in Malate, Tisoy, my white PX 150 is home.

It took them a while to find out what was really wrong with him. He was making a lot of strange noises that really sounded awful. They ended up cracking the crank case 3 times and replacing almost all of the bearings inside, plus they also replaced my clutch plates which were worn down to nothing (not bad for almost 20,000 Kilometers). After all that pampering, he’s now back home and still as noisy as ever.

He’s still currently under observation because there’s still some klinging and klanking inside him which has baffled the boys of 2211 since they’ve practically turned the engine inside-out and found nothing wrong with it, and if they did they’ve replaced it already.

Oh well, it’s a Vespa, what can I say.

And on his first day home, we experienced probably one of the strongest downpours I have ever ridden in. But he got me home safe and sound, wet but none the worst for wear.

There’s still another chapter to this story, but that’s for another time.
